Wilson\u2019s recent books are Jefrey Sachs: The Strange case of Dr. Shock and Mr. Aid, with Verso press, and together with the geographer Erik Swyngedouw he edited The Post-Political and Its Discontents with Edinburgh University Press.<\/p>\n<p><strong>October 30 Screening\/Lecture: My Brooklyn &#8211; Kelly Anderson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kelly Anderson (Director, Producer, Editor) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Film and Media studies at Hunter College (CUNY). She recently completed Never Enough, a documentary about clutter, collecting and Americans\u2019 relationship with their material possessions, which won an award for Artistic Excellence at the Big Sky Documentary Festival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>November 6 Lecture: FUREE &#8211; Urban Minorities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Families United for Racial and Economic Equality (FUREE) is a Brooklyn-based multi-racial organization made up almost exclusively of women of color, organizing low-income families to build power to change the system so that all people&#8217;s work is valued and all of us have the right and economic means to decide and live out our own destinies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>November 7th to November 14th: Lecture: Ricardo Dominguez \u2013 Appropriating Technology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ricardo is an American artist and associate professor of visual arts at UC San Diego. He has been the subject of controversy over a number of acts of electronic civil disobedience on his own and with the Electronic Disturbance Theater, which he co-founded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>November 20th: Conference: Cooperative Cities &#8211; Federicci, Rodriguez, Petrescu, Krasny<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Silvia Federicci<\/em> is an Italian American scholar, teacher, and activist from the radical autonomist feminist Marxist tradition. She is a professor emerita and Teaching Fellow at Hofstra University, where she was a social science professor.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ana Rodriguez<\/em> Researcher and curator. Directs the Museums Foundation of the City of Quito, Ecuador, entity in charge of City Museum, the Interactive Science Museum, the Museum Yaku Water Park and the Center for Contemporary Art.<\/p>\n<p><em>Doina Petrescu<\/em> is a Professor of Architecture and Design Activism at the University of Sheffield. She is the co-founder of atelier d\u2019architecture autog\u00e9r\u00e9e. Her research focuses on gender and space in contemporary society, co-design and participation.<\/p>\n<p><em>Elke Krasny<\/em> is a curator, cultural theorist, and writer. She is Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Austria.
