A consortium of six universities from the United States and Europe (led by Parsons School of Design and KU Leuven) had organized a transatlantic educational and research program, titled Urbanisms of Inclusion, between 2010-14. The program sought to address the inequities and injustices of the last four decades of global development and economic growth policies, the antisocial turn in urbanist and design practices, and planetary-scale environmental destruction. Given the imminent global equality-, climate- and health crises we are facing, and the unprecedented scale of response needed to counter it, we are proposing to re-engage all participants in the new project under the umbrella title \u201cInfrastructures of Inclusion.\u201d The idea is to solidify our platform for learning and exchange, and employ it to co-produce a collective response to the present crisis. Faculty and program alumni will make short presentations to be followed by an open discussion.
