It has been widely acknowledged that under-served and immigrant communities have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. As the effects of the virus unfold, community leaders and organizations are assessing the damage, confronting unprecedented challenges, and building capacity to plan and implement recovery efforts. This panel discussion brings together community leaders from different community-based organizations to discuss the impact that Covid-19 has had on neighborhoods across the NYC, discuss community responses to new challenges, and share visions for how community-based organizations can support neighborhoods in recovering from the current crisis. This event is open to students, faculty and the general public.<\/p>\n
