Guillermo G\u00f3mez is the Director of Programs at the Urban Design Forum, where he leads the Next New York series and supports initiatives such as Public Works and the New City Critics Fellowship. His work focuses on cities, infrastructure, and political economic geography, examining how planning and development shape urban life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2018, Guillermo has overseen Forum projects including Streets Ahead, Shape Shift, Work Force, Power After the Pandemic, and Care for Hudson Square, convening practitioners, community voices, and emerging critics to expand conversations about urban design and equity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to the Forum, he co-founded Port to Port, a curatorial initiative exploring labor, infrastructure, and trade across global port cities. He holds a Master of Arts in Theories of Urban Practice from Parsons School of Design.
