CAIR Collective – Amy Yu Chen & Claudia Poh 2018

Existing ways of dress are built with the assumption that all users have the same range of motion and dexterity. T-shirts, sweaters, pants, dresses and even sleeves adopt a cylindrical form, leaning towards a tunneling action as a way of getting dressed. This prompts us to question: How can we redesign the normative system of dress? CAIR COLLECTIVE aims to redefine normative modes of dress.
