The goal of the game is to communicate with different NPC in different places and collect memory fragments and use the fragments to unlock the memory scenes. Then player can enter the virtual world, collect dog tags and learn about tragic stories that happens decades ago. Finally, the more dog tags player collects, the more price the NFT will be evaluated.

The primary story revolves around 9 children living in a war-torn world. As victims of war and poverty, they attempt to appeal to the world to stop the war, give donations, and rebuild their homes by drawing NFTs of their fondest memories, experiences, and childhood elements such as animals and pets. They collectively drew NFT paintings and enjoyed their time together as it was the only period of peace they experienced. However, evil people used their creations for nefarious purposes and kidnapped the 9 children. Only the youngest, who will become a guide to the players in the future, was able to escape. The rest were mercilessly executed. With the guidance of the elder, the players will attempt to recover the 8 dog tags within the virtual world and uncover the secrets behind the NFTs. Eventually, they will meet the elder again and completely unravel the mystery of the NFTs and potentially save the world through their actions.

Plot and Art Style

While plot and art style are necessary when it comes to creating an engaging game, gameplay allows for exciting mechanics and interactive usage with the player base. Without good gameplay, the users will eventually find it hard to play or engage with the content of the game.

The 9 dog tags serve as the central focus of the gameplay mechanics. Puzzles will be scattered all over the world and will require the necessary wits and platforming to be solved. The 9 dog tags correspond to the children who were the victims of the war and drew the NFTs as a means of resolution and escape.

Memory scenes and fragments may be acquired from the dog tags similar to the concept of the original Assassin’s Creed game. The memory scenes are contained within the dog tags themselves and may be accessed through various conditions that the player must obtain or finish. The player’s NFT appraiser ability allows them to enter the metaphysical realm of the memory fragments, acquire the NFTs, learn about the history of the world, and discover the truth and beauty behind the drawn NFTs. The player will then be able to sell, auction, and collect these NFTs while being accompanied by their pet. Eventually, the story will be revealed and they will be tasked with confronting the elder that escaped the clutches of the enemy to fulfill the promise of helping the world.

UI Panel

The Notebook UI is the essential guideline UI that collects the NFTs and allows viewing of keywords, map designs, puzzle hints, important conversation, and more. It is essentially the central hub of the user where they can calibrate their experience or call back to different segments of the game for further immersion or help. It is akin to the bag or guiding menu found in many RPGs. The memory fragments will also have an alternative UI system handling their interactions. Due to the metaphysical structure and nature of the memories, a corresponding UI with an ethereal theme will be applied. This UI primarily focuses on gathering information about the memories, what the memories could potentially mean, NFTs that were recovered, and more. This UI will also serve as the portal where the users may enter the said memories whenever possible or required.

The Tasklist UI is the quest UI of this project. It displays necessary tasks to be accomplished, how they may be performed, what order they should be made, how many of the tasks are finished, and where could the task at hand be accomplished. It may also lead the player to the necessary clues or elements that are needed for the tasks.
