In this era of urbanization, socializing has become an indispensable part of human life. We meet different people every day and deal with different things by dealing with people. These things are not worth mentioning in the eyes of most people. However, we may not have thought that there is a group of people who are unable to do these ordinary things in the eyes of most people, and that is to communicate with others. Therefore, I will use the game to put the players into the psychological world of social phobics and experience a different day.

Light is a platformer game simulating the inner world of social phobics that aims to create empathy with them. It is a metaphoric game on the topic of social phobia and social anxiety. On this project, I am trying to create an atmosphere which simulates the inner world of social phobic people. I chose the form of the platformer game and the topic of confronting fear. The game has three levels and has the player go through all the levels to win. In the process, there are enemies symbolizing the fear and lights symbolizing the warmth in their lives. The player will be able to collect the lights as energy and shoot their energy to the fear. The player would lose energy when touching the fear or get caught by the traps. The three levels each symbolize morning, noon, and afternoon of the day. The happy ending would be at the end of the day the character going back to his bedroom. The bad ending would be feeling exhausted and leaving things to tomorrow to complete.
