I’m designing an app for collaboratively recording and sharing traditional, authentic and handmade Chinese food. In other words, I’m creating a collective recipe journal, a diary, and a platform for communication dedicated to traditional Chinese cuisines.
As a person who was born and raised in China, I love and am proud of my own culture. I
have a continuing investigation regarding the place that I was born and raised: food, custom,
architecture, and communities. Since 2020, I have created numerous art works through different
media around this topic. I found where I was born and raised, as well as the customs I was
immersed in throughout the years had impacted my work tremendously.
