Transient Patterns is an ongoing exploration of tangible experiences of the immaterial nature of time and the little inconsistencies within it that are easier to grasp than to describe.
Rooted in the uncertainty loop of the fleeting present, the undetermined future, and the fallible memory of the past; the projection of a view of Bryant Park compresses the span of 3 days into a single overlapping video in real time. The fabricated video is comprised of individual RGB channels from each of the days, which are combined to generate patterns through the movement of people as they enter and exit the scene.
