Organisms Utopia

A speculative wearable art design to explore the future underwater utopian world with human relations.

Organisms Utopia is a speculative design based wearable art project that explores a harmonious and optimistic relationship between humans and organisms on Earth in the future underwater world, a utopian world. It uses experimental fashion to create wearable pieces in an organic way, representing a new biological relationship. Envisioning a possible future utopian world and showing the possible future, thinking about the redefinition of life, and how the world’s reincarnation should continue to flourish – as we return to the beginning of all life on Earth, the ocean.

The project will explore and demonstrate how wearable organisms in this futuristic utopian world, their forms, functions, and lifestyles. Each of the wearable art pieces represents a future evolution of marine organisms which can grow on different parts of the human body, it is a parasitic and coexistence relationship, the two as one.

These “wearable organisms” are all made from a variety of recyclable, sustainable materials, creating a futuristic underwater organism. The ultimate goal is to provoke further reflection on the current relationship between humans, living creatures, and technology in this era of rapid technological development. Our world is losing its balance with nature, technology, and human life. Everything on Earth needs its balance. 

Get Your Own Baby Organisms

These baby “wearable organisms” will be the seedlings of the “wearable organisms” that will be grown in the Org Center. When they reach adulthood, will be different kinds of “wearable organisms”. Each of these Baby “wearable organisms” is unique. Everyone can come to adopt your own Baby “wearable organisms”, choose the one you like to wear. Wear it and nurture it to grow.
