Reset

Reset is an audio-based interactive narrative experience that explores the tension between the overwhelming digital noise of modern life and the peaceful beauty of the world around us. Through the lens of listening to the world, I am taking unique perspectives and interpretations of their surroundings. The experience aims to lead the audience to re-explore the moments of beauty and tranquility that may have been missed in the midst of the technological din. By highlighting the stark contrast between these two soundtracks, the experience intends to provoke a deeper reflection on the ways in which technology has come to dominate our lives and distract us from the present moment. Ultimately, the experience hopes to inspire audiences to refocus on their own experiences of the world and to find a renewed sense of connection and presence amidst the digital noise.

This project is a mini-replica of my personal perspectives and interpretation of my surrounding world. I want to lead my audience to re-explore the beauty and peaceful moments that they missed out on. I want to lead the audience to think about how the digital and tech-based noisy world have dominated our life. The dramatic distinction between the two soundtracks aims to provide a huge hit on our hearing. I hope my experience can help people to refocus on who they are in this real world, instead of feeling overwhelmed and buried in this information-massed digitally dominating world.
