“Scream!” is an interactive installation that provides a space for them to free their emotions without any concerns. Feeling deflated? That is normal!
People live in big cities are having too much pressure. They are trying hard to keep up with track, sometimes they tend to hold onto their moods like sad, stressed or depressed. We have heard a lot of motivational sentences like “Fake it till you make it” or “Be Positive” or “Just Do It”, these feel like the society is reminding us to keep going, there is no time to be sad and vulnerable. My purpose is to encourage them accepting bad moods or just to let them know that it is ok to take a break.
The design uses Touch Designer to achieve interactive design controlled by sound. The plants and flowers will be inflating based on the sound volume users are making. I want my target audiences like students and workers living in New York can have a real blast and scream out their emotions.
