Matthew has over 20 years of experience in the luxury retail and fashion industry. He has built his career on creating and driving people and talent strategies that bring together external recruitment with internal, strategic initiatives, such as talent development and succession planning, with a strong focus on Inclusion. Prior to leading this work for Tapestry, parent company of Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman, Matthew held senior positions with Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Ralph Lauren in New York, Paris and London.

 

In his free time, Matthew has served as a mentor for the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s (CFDA) business development program, leads the Diversity efforts as a board member for the Fashion Group International (FGI) and is on the board of the Fire Island Dance Festival/Dancers Responding to AIDS. Matthew earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Harvard University.
