INTERVAL is a family of three objects that remove the cell phone from the center of the user’s life. They accept all different sizes of phones. The user experience is designed within the context of a routine that happens when people arrive home from their school or workplace.
INTERVAL includes a timer, a music player, and a table lamp. One of three scenarios aligns with each product in the family: the moment of concentration, the moment of relaxation, and the moment of connection. All three products raise awareness of phone use to hinder the mindless picking up of the phone.
