Parsons AAS Fashion Design students were challenged to explore the act of unmaking as a path to understand alternate approaches of how garments are made. #UN_MADE is a project that considers the current dilemma of waste created by the fashion system and how redesigning existing apparel can lead to prolonging a garment’s lifecycle. This exhibit features, behind the scenes videos, work in progress, final designs, and editorial images, which document creative methods applied to design by reutilizing garments.
Participating AAS Students included Julia McCann, Mia Jean Jaquet, Na Ren, Mengying Li.
