Pop Up Paradigm: How Pop-Ups Change the Retail Landscape

Retail strategist Melissa Gonzales discusses strategies behind pop-up retail. She will share her insights, as well as examples of tools and best practices she employs to build effective branded experiential retail. Her company, The Lion’esque Group, has gone from producing shows at New York Fashion Week to producing award-winning pop-up shops for cutting edge brands. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
About the lecture series. This lecture series, sponsored by the School of Design Strategies, invites designers and strategists from a broad spectrum of industries across Fashion and Retail, Branding, Architecture, Industrial Design, Advertising, Public Relations, Communication and Digital Design, et al, to lecture on the idea and importance of strategy in their discipline. From managing creative teams to building platforms for collaboration and innovation this series will look closely at the relationship of the logistics, tactics and strategies behind effective design interventions.
