Victor Angel SDM 14′ co-founder of N8, and one of the first grantees of the Parsons ELab, conducted an engaging workshop during the Design Intelligence conference 2015 at Parsons on Saturday 4/25 around the theme Design Intelligence for New Venture Design, with participating members that ranged from students to professionals in the field.
At the workshop, Victor created teams and applied one of many methods that he had learnt in the Strategic Design and Management program, in order to demonstrate ways of understanding industries and tackling big problems. He engaged the participating members and demonstrated a unique framework using a design thinking approach, the findings of which were later shared with the audience in a casual on stage keynote.
The takeaway that participants walked out with was that the problem solver needs to curiously look at the big picture that involves technological, social and cultural trends before focusing on the information and bridge contradictions by envisioning, when opportunities for solution emerge.
