Mutual Bracing

Project Description
Mutual Bracing is a fashion collection that explores traces and evidence of human survival within architecture, using the Kowloon Walled City as a case study to examine how structures in this ungoverned district emerged from constraint and necessity. It investigates how the demolished remnants of the Walled City continue to reveal a crack within Hong Kong’s colonial history, reflecting the coexistence of resilience and neglect.

Jasmine Cheung is a fashion design from Hong Kong, working with structured silhouettes and creative prints to create garments that empower wearers to challenge dressing norms and embrace self-expression. Her focus is on resonance to authenticity and a feminine narrative.
