Quantum Entanglement

Project Description
Quantum Entanglement is a poetic audiovisual installation that illuminates collective care within Black communities across the Afro-Diaspora. Using photographs, archival images, academic texts, and found footage, it highlights historical efforts such as community schools, free clinics, and mutual-aid networks. The project reframes care as a communal insurgency against structural violence.

Christian Gines is a writer, curator, and artist from Mississippi exploring how notions of decay, care, and precarity in relation to Black bodies manifest in visual culture. He is first-year Master student at Parson and a recent graduate of Harvard College where I studied History and Literature and African American Studies.
