This panel will explore innovative organizational approaches to promoting mental health and community resilience across Lower Manhattan. A central focus will be BridgeNYC, a new initiative led by The New School Center for Global Mental Health (CGMH), which seeks to strengthen organizational capacity through community-based mental health strategies and collaborative models of care. The program is part of a broader movement within New York City to expand the delivery of essential mental health support through task-sharing approaches—an evidence-based strategy used globally to address mental health workforce shortages and increase access to care.
