Quitapenas

Project Description
Quitapenas is a telenovela-based film adaptation of evidence-based mental health tools for Spanish-speaking communities facing adversity and major life transitions. Inspired by real-life struggles and grounded in science, it transforms two mental health tools developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) into heartfelt, relatable stories. It sits at the intersection of entertainment and evidence-based mental health, using culturally resonant storytelling to drive social and behavior change.
