EASE: Early Adolescent Skills for Emotion – Supporting youth mental health in NYC through community.

Project Description
In partnership with NYC agencies and community organizations, The New School adapted the WHO’s Early Adolescent Skills for Emotion (EASE) program with youth aged 10–15 in central Brooklyn. Over the summer, Latinx, Black, and system-affected youth redesigned the seven-session emotional skills curriculum to reflect their lived experiences. The program has since expanded to reach 100 youth citywide
