Prompt: Our prompt for this project was to explore memorials within a specific theme, ours being the city.
EMPIRE CITY is a video piece documenting an exploration of street art as memorials. For this project, we traveled to abandoned buildings in different boroughs in order to find areas where tags and artwork was abundant. The music, editing, and lettering of EMPIRE CITY are all done by hand in collaboration.
