Prompt: Take a theme from your bridge 3 project and make a photo series based around it.

I took this series of portraits of 8 different people in New York, whom I found on the street, and I asked them to tell me an event or something that has made them who they are today. I think that every single person has a unique history, and I wanted to capture the way that people express that on the outside, while also getting a quote for context. People are built on their memories and past experiences, and it makes up everything about them today. Everyone expresses their own identity in different ways. Some people are outgoing and open about their lives, and some people try to hide it. My goal was to capture the broad range of faces and stories in the city.
