Prompt: This project is called the Self, or the Selves. Through the different 2D, 3D and time-based media, we should explore how we express ourselves, what shape us to be us, how do ourselves evolve over time, etc.
I made a 3D wind chime model to represent the inner self and further participate in the time- based work. For the time-based work, I want to show the forces in the inner self which are in different directions and causing conflict feelings. I was also inspired by another artwork called conflict, which is simply two forces which pull the string straight but is very expressive. In this project, I tried to use the wind charm to represent oneself and use the wind to show the forces from different directions and how such a small force could impact people significantly. This media should be containing both visual effect and sounds.
