
We invite you to join NYC-based illustrator & the co-founder of Beyond The Veil Press, Josiah Callaway in his illustration-based workshop titled “Comic Making 101.” Through this 2-hour workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of creating their very own comic! During this session, students will learn about the various tools and techniques of the trade and how to develop narrative ideas through panel and page layouts. All skill levels are welcome! All supplies will be provided!

About the host
Josiah Callaway is a NYC-based illustrator & the co-founder of Beyond The Veil Press, an indie book publishing company that promotes mental health through visual arts & poetry. Fueled by his passion for creativity and stories, Josiah earned his graduate degree in Sequential Arts (the art of visual storytelling) from Savannah College of Art & Design. Josiah explores humor and world mythology through his art using a variety of mixed media including watercolor, ink, and digital.
