As creatives, we often take on unique design challenges which present no standard, or obvious solutions. How might we step into such projects to develop solution concepts which are innovative and impactful?
Low-fidelity prototyping offers designers simple material techniques to quickly explore new design ideas. Fast, light, and low-tech, these methods help creative entrepreneurs bring untested concepts to life with minimal upfront effort.
This workshop will introduce several such prototyping methods. Hands-on, embodied techniques like Rapid Ideation, Lo-fi Modeling, and Bodystorming will guide student teams through a hackathon-style design challenge.
Highly collaborative, this workshop will showcase common low-fidelity prototyping tools and design thinking methods for product development and innovation. If you are an aspiring entrepreneur or are interested in the operational side of the creative industry this workshop aims to give you hands-on experience in taking that next step.
All Materials will be provided!
