As part of a new series of Parsons Notes student spotlights, we are looking at a week in the life of a Parsons First Year student.
Our first spotlight is on Kaitlyn Zhang. Kaitlyn is currently a Parsons First Year student planning on majoring in Communication Design and works as a Student Designer at The New School’s Career Services. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in New Jersey followed by Arizona. In high school, she created designs for school clubs and businesses while also working on her own personal mixed media art. Her passion is to utilize her skills and make a visual impact on the future, whether it be in systems, social issues, or the environment, and to make a difference doing what she loves.
