Prompt: The assignment was to reimagine a story thats already been told in a different time period and make it into a book.

I reimagined the story of Little Red Riding Hood in modern times. Instead of their being a wolf following her through the forest it’s a strange man following her through the subway. My creative intention was to show the suspense and fear being felt by the protagonist through the framing of each scene. I also used cutouts in the physical book to keep certain parts of the environment obscured, so as to build suspense. One of the inspirations for these cut outs were the many unique books shown in class. Each of the books had a unique mechanism which made the reader interact with them in a specific way.
