Prompt: In this project, students will craft a unique mini-collection of jewelry or a wearable accessory by drawing inspiration from iconic architectural landmarks and structures using the 3D design principles and elements.
For this project, I took inspiration from the design of traditional Chinese windows. During my research process, I was intrigued by the fact that the windows were not only popular because of their aesthetics, but also because of the balance and harmony that they represent. When integrating these designs into my jewelries, I decided to make these designs into repetitive patterns that can work together to create something new.
