When I first heard that we would have to create a piece made of wood using all the different tools of the making center I was quite intimidated. Yet, after listening to how to use each tool and carefully planning my design it was easier and really exciting to produce my necklace. I first started by getting a piece of plywood and measuring out the sketches that I will have to cut in the machines. I then used the hand drill to make the holes on my piece. Secondly, I used the bandsaw to cut out the small squares and finish use the line technique to cut as much closer to the half circle as possible. I used the belt sander to create the intended shape and with a sand paper I did the finishing touches. Finally I used spray paint in different colors to create a nice aesthetic.
