A Lesson Bathed in Blue
Class of: 2029
Major: Design History and Practice BFA
Medium: Text Piece

Prompt: We there tasked with writing a story about the cyanotype we created in studio. We were instructed to describe the materials, method, and color achieved. The assignment had the goal of growing both our descriptive writing skills through the explanation of our physical cyanotic but also an emotional aspect rooted in the story behind its creation and what we see in it.
In all honesty my piece just began as me ranting about how I was having a particularly frustrating time adjusting to life as a new student at Parsons. I felt overwhelmed by the massive amounts of lessons I was learning, not just in the classroom but in the world around me, through commuting, working, and living.
