The Lambs Club
Prompt: Do an architectural drawing, and then create a vector image of the drawing in illustrator.
The Lambs Club is America’s first professional theatrical club, and is located in Midtown, on 51st street and Fifth Avenue. While I was visiting The Lambs Club, I felt inspired by their Game room, featuring a pool table, a chess table, and various billiards themed decorations. While sitting in the corner of the room, I observed the two point perspective of the room, and emulated the pool table to draw the eyes in. While drawing, I concentrated on the value and line of my piece. When it came time to replicate the drawing in Illustrator, I used the pen tool to create a vector image of my drawing. I focused on the color and shape in my work to create a new perspective of the room.
