Prompt: Creating an object representing a sense of community and culture by using 3D design elements and materials.

My overall idea was to create a decor piece based on ancient Greek vases. As I have always been interested in Greek culture and its history, I wanted to create something that had a more modern look to it. I had visited Greece and couple of years back and was struck by their architectural elements and choice of design. I noticed that arches were a massive element in interior architecture. There was often a dome or some sort of circular aspect to stores, restaurants, homes, hotels, etc. This was an element I wanted to include in my piece. I also wanted to include mythology as it is something Greece is almost known for and a major part of their history. I used the laserlab to cut out and engrave my designs and the arches themselves from plywood.
