Prompt: Using pictures of a classmate's view from outside their window, we needed to create an analysis of home as a system and its symbolic meaning as a physical and phycological space.
In this piece, I used a previous analysis of pictures that classmates sent in of what the view looked like outside their window. Using those images, a wrote a thorough description of the surroundings and utilized that to structure my analysis of home. In my analysis, I pick apart what is most commonly understood as the notion of home and the way I interpret it based on personal experience. Through some research and my current understanding of what home and belonging means, I took apart the actual word itself and its various associations to create an inclusive study of the ways it can be defined.
