Inner Garden
Prompt: Design and construct a three dimensional cube form in which each of the four sides has a linear wire 'drawing' suspended in a square wire frame.
My concept of this wire cube project is about Chinese Garden in Suzhou, China. I was obsessed with this from of combination between nature world full of various plants and classic architecture. By starting to draft my design, I first summarized several basic symbols of Chinese garden including smoky could, pine tree, and the open window with patterned structure carved inside. Also, I include one panel features figures of hands from Buddhism to represent my inner voice after visiting this wonderful nature world.
