This piece is titled, “Love Follows Suit”. The name roots itself from the second circle of hell, “Lust” in Dante Alighieri’s ‘Dante’s Inferno’. From an audience’s standpoint, they see just over a hundred faces, all indifferent from each other on a plane of corrugated cardboard, but the idea behind the composition is much deeper than the surface attention; it is that in every corner of the Earth, there are people that would rather go through depths of hell to be with the ones they love as opposed to staying in heaven alone. Every face represents people who are in love, in love with themselves, with each other, and those who are awaiting their loved ones. A small white square represents that small piece of heaven that stay with these souls. For some, it comes as a flickering light catching just the corner of their eyes, and with others, a warm light encapsulates their bodies until the end of time.
