Prompt: Students create a work expressing their own notion of imagined space and its metaphorical implications. Utilizing the principles of perspective, students can choose to stay true to, bend, or break perspectival convention. Consideration should be given to the nature, mood, and tone of the imagined space. Students may look to world events, social issues, and personal interests to help guide their choices.
This piece represents the inner peace I harbor in a world full of chaos and unpredictable challenges. I demonstrated this concept by placing a beige monotone isometric room with a logical perspective in the center of a background that has multiple inconsistent perspectives. The singular warm light source conveys how I find comfort and peace through self-contained serenity.
