For this redesign design project, I focus on an aspect of our life that creates much greater waste than we normally realize — the oral care products. In order to make the products more sustainable using the ideas of “cradle to cradle” and “life cycle assessment” we learned in my Sustainable Systems class, I redesign the main oral care products – toothbrush, toothpaste, tooth floss – and create a subscription based dental care service line, including the packaging part of the following subscribed products. I researched the existing examples of brands trying to make the same products I focus on more sustainable and I researched the material aspect of the products, together I come up with the redesigned oral care products.
