Prompt: Environmental portrait, Make a portrait of someone in an environment that says something about that person. It should be very different from a studio portrait.
My idea for this project was to photograph the fitness trainer at the gym that my family goes to, because I knew I could make it really clear what he did based off the environment he was in. I took this photo down in the weight room, and I set up the composition to have him in between the motivational posters, with yoga balls framing him. I didn’t pose him, and I feel like his expression is very naturally him.
