Prompt: We were required to take an "interrupted portrait," in which we used something in the way of/blocking the shot to make a more dynamic portrait.
This is a portrait of my close friend, which was actually taken in the reflection of a building’s window. I used the two wooden panels of the window frame to frame her face, and allowed a very thin pole from behind the window to be visible and “interrupt” the view of her. My friend is a rather introverted and introspective person, and there’s a quietness to this portrait that I feel captures that well.
