The Roommate Calendar
Prompt: The assignment was to make a book based on our previous project, which was a calendar design based on something other than celestial bodies.
This folding book is based on a calendar that I designed to track time, based on my roommates and I. The book shows the calendar itself, with each of the following pages depicting either a zodiac sign relating to the calendar and my roommates or a picture featuring one or multiple of us. The back design is an edited photo I took of a paint spill in the street. I constructed the book using diamond-shaped pieces of cardstock, which I folded and glued together to give the book rigidity and flexibility.
