Prompt: We were prompted to use video to express a journey or dream.
The goal of this piece was to express an unspoken, internal emotional experience. One of feeling unsatisfied and background in everyday life. Of experiencing a phenomenon when you feel mindless and pointless, unable to appreciate life.
I used narration to guide the video, and created an almost surreal atmosphere with editing and text overlays to emphasize the feeling of distance to reality.
The message behind this was not complex or oversaturated, but just a peaceful reminder to be willing to try and live life, to be conscious in your every action and not lose yourself in your life.
