Prompt: Bridge Project: I had to write an Alt Memoir emphasizing the power our memories (real & fake) hold for the Seminar project. We then had to use that to make a One Minute Book for the Studio project.
My one-minute book explores my experience through 2020 and creates an alternate reality of 2020 in a comical way. The book is titled ‘A sip of Matcha’ to focus on the bittersweet feeling of this past year. The pages were stained with matcha and then illustrated on. The cover of my book expresses the ironic nature of our memories, sometimes being very complex, sometimes being weirdly hazy, inspired by the textures created by matcha tea.
