Documentation of a City on Lockdown
Prompt: In these current times, we were to choose any topic of our choice and create a documentation series consisting of 15-20 photographs. Due to the circumstances and this transition, this series was shot digitally as we did not have access to the darkroom and school's facilities.
THESE IMAGES HAVE BEEN SHOT IN GURUGRAM, INDIA, WHILE THE NATION WAS ON LOCKDOWN DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. From March 25, 2020 to May 18, 2020, the entire nation was on strict lockdown to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. All public places were closed and citizens were told to not leave their houses under any circumstances – other than for the purpose of getting groceries and medical supplies. This photo series showcases life on the streets during this time of crisis.
