Prompt: Build a model for a collapsible structure using a scissor mechanism.

Living in New York City means that you probably can’t have tons of space, everything is compacted. My intention for this project is to make furniture, specifically a chair, that uses minimalist design language so it’s simple but elegant, and at the same time doesn’t lose its original purpose. Because of this project we need to use scissor structure as part of the requirement, it is perfect for me to think of a foldable structure using such mechanism, making this chair able to fold and expand so it can be a chair when you need it, and folded and save space when you need to use it no longer.
