For my final project, I want to explore the emotional weight of family on a person and the sacrifice the members make for each other willingly. I noticed that my parents subtly shifted their identity to be my parents whenever they are present in their life. Therefore, I want to capture who they are when I am not around and see what difference there is. In order to understand how I could transform these ideas into a time-based visual form, I researched artists whose works surround the themes of identity, memory, and intimate relationships.
