Butterfly Trail
Prompt: Butterfly trail——I was inspired by an injury and realized that butterflies are the meaning of rebirth and recovery for me.
The creation intention of this work comes from my childhood fracture experience, so that now I will deliberately protect my hand from making large movements. I also had nightmares about my hand before, so I choose to take this inspiration in Project 2 “Body Connection”. In this project, I choose to change and continue this work. Because the theme I want to show and extend in this continuation work has become “about the past experience to become a unique symbol”, I have extracted inspiration from the life cycle of butterflies, and also extracted inspiration from colors and fabrics. I recreated different shapes in the same position, added pink purple and blue yellow wool to the wire and used wool for decoration.
