This workshop hosted by Kori Shavit invites participants to explore time and movement as materials for creation. We will investigate human connection and the transformative power of rhythm within the constraints of time and space. Participants will engage in collaborative practices to explore their physical and emotional capacities, fostering resilience and creativity.
By the end of the workshop, students will gain a deeper understanding of performance art and its capacity for personal and collective expression. They will develop heightened physical awareness and collaborative skills while reflecting critically on their experiences. This workshop aims to enrich participants’ artistic practices, encouraging them to incorporate concepts of persistence, relational dynamics, and evolution into their work.
Note: If you can no longer attend the workshop after RSVP’ing, please send an e-mail to Kori Shavit to make room for potential wait-listed students.
