Interlinked Surveillance
Prompt: This is a final project for this course, and the projects show elements that correspond to the techniques learned in class, such as Gestalt principles, Color Theory, Figure drawing, Perspective, etc.
This project is made corresponding to Perspective, Color Theory, Design & Composition, and Figure drawing. I intended to create a piece that explores the essence of “Surveillance Realism,” in which being monitored becomes acceptable in daily life, thereby diminishing the self-perception of being under surveillance. I was greatly inspired by the dystopian novel ” 1984 ” written by George Orwell, as well as the sci-fi movie” Blade Runner. ” These great works sparked my creativity and imagination, which became the tone of this project.
